The 90-meter LNG-powered container vessel "Jining Port Navigation 9001" is designed with a length of 90 meters, a depth of 5.4 meters, and a beam of 16.6 meters, meeting the China Classification Society (CCS) standards for Inland Waterway Class A/B service areas. The vessel is manned by a crew of 5 + 1. It has a maximum capacity of 161 containers, with a payload of nearly 5,000 tons, and is equipped with a 30-cubic-meter LNG fuel tank. With a service speed of 12 km/h, the vessel has a range of up to 2,000 kilometers. Powered by two LNG fuel engines, the vessel’s emissions of nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, and other pollutants are reduced by over 90%, and carbon emissions are decreased by more than 15% compared to conventional propulsion systems. The vessel features low unit transport costs and high economic efficiency, making it the largest vessel type capable of navigating the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.
